Welcome to Lunology. These Terms & Conditions govern your relationship with us when you browse our website or purchase our products, whether digital or printed. Please read them carefully; by using the site or completing any purchase, you acknowledge your agreement to them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Lunology website, or by purchasing any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all related policies. If you do not agree with any part of them, please refrain from using the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be of legal age and have full legal capacity to enter into contracts in order to purchase through the site. If you are below that age, purchases must be made under the supervision or with the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Products & Pricing
We take care to display our products, descriptions, and prices accurately. All prices are shown in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify prices, product descriptions, or availability at any time without prior notice, without affecting orders already confirmed.
4. Orders & Payment
When you complete your order, you will receive a confirmation message, which constitutes acceptance of the order. We offer multiple secure payment methods, which may include electronic payment or installments through trusted providers. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we suspect a pricing error, fraud, or a breach of these Terms.
5. Shipping & Delivery
For printed products, orders are shipped to the addresses and within the timeframes shown at checkout; delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as courier companies or customs procedures. Digital products are made available immediately after payment via a download link or your user account.
5-1 Cold-Chain Shipping & Temperature-Sensitive Products
1) Scope
These provisions apply to any product described on its product page as temperature-sensitive or shipped by refrigerated delivery. This means products whose texture, appearance or scent may be affected by heat or by direct exposure to sunlight; this is stated on the product page before purchase is completed.
2) The store’s obligations
- Packing the product in thermal packaging suitable to its nature and to the expected transit time.
- Dispatching it via the refrigerated delivery service of the contracted delivery provider.
- Timing dispatch so as to reduce the time the shipment spends in transit, and avoiding dispatch at times when delays are expected.
- Notifying the customer that the order has shipped and providing the tracking number.
- Clearly stating the product’s sensitive nature and its storage instructions before purchase.
3) The delivery provider’s obligations
Under our agreement with them, the delivery provider undertakes to:
- Maintain the shipment within the agreed cooling range until the moment of delivery.
- Contact the customer before delivery on the contact number recorded on the order.
- Hand the shipment to the customer in person, or to their authorised representative, at the registered address.
- Not leave the shipment without an actual recipient, unless expressly instructed to do so by the customer.
- Record the time of delivery and the recipient’s details.
4) The customer’s obligations
By purchasing a temperature-sensitive product, the customer acknowledges and undertakes to:
- Provide an accurate address and a correct, active mobile number, and update them upon any change.
- Respond to the delivery agent’s call or messages, and agree a time at which the customer or their representative will be present to receive the shipment.
- Receive the shipment personally or through their representative, and check its condition upon receipt.
- Not instruct the delivery agent to leave the shipment at the door, with a building guard, with neighbours, at a reception desk, or in any location without actual receipt.
- Move the product immediately upon receipt to a suitable place, and store it in accordance with the storage instructions shown on the product or on its page.
5) Effect of the customer’s breach of these obligations
If the customer requests that the shipment be left without actual receipt, or agrees to this, or cannot be reached and the shipment is left based on prior instructions from them, delivery is deemed complete from the moment it is left at the location they specified. From that moment, responsibility for the product’s condition and storage passes to the customer, and neither the store nor the delivery provider bears any consequence of a change occurring to the product thereafter.
6) Cases in which the store bears no responsibility
- The shipment being left without actual receipt at the customer’s request or with their agreement.
- The customer’s delay in collecting the shipment after its arrival or after being notified of it.
- An error in the registered address or contact number, or failure to answer the delivery agent.
- Receipt by an unauthorised person arranged by the customer.
- Improper storage after receipt, or failure to follow the storage instructions.
- Circumstances beyond control as set out in paragraph (10) below.
7) Reporting the product’s condition
The customer must inspect the product immediately upon receipt. Should anything require attention, the customer must notify customer service as soon as possible, attaching the order number and clear photographs showing the product and the thermal packaging as received, and keeping the product and its packaging without disposing of them until the case has been assessed. Meeting these conditions is the basis for assessing the request, as the condition cannot be verified once the product or its packaging has been discarded.
8) Handling valid cases
Where it is established that the change in the product’s condition is due to a fault in the packaging or in the cold chain prior to delivery, the store will resolve the matter in a way that preserves the customer’s right — by replacement or refund — in accordance with the Refund Policy and applicable regulations, at no cost to the customer.
9) Perishable products and the right of withdrawal
Given their nature, temperature-sensitive and perishable products are excluded from the right of withdrawal after delivery, in line with the exceptions set out in the Saudi E-Commerce Law and its Implementing Regulations. This does not affect the customer’s rights where the product has an actual defect.
10) Failed delivery and circumstances beyond control
If the shipment cannot be delivered after the delivery provider’s usual attempts, due to the customer not responding or to incorrect details, the shipment may be returned or may not be capable of being retained given its nature, and the customer is not entitled to a refund in this case. The store is likewise not responsible for delay or damage resulting from circumstances beyond its control, such as weather conditions, road closures, or official procedures.

Pre-Orders
By placing a pre-order for an eligible product, you acknowledge and agree that:
- A pre-order is a binding order paid in full electronically at the time of purchase.
- A pre-order item requires a longer preparation time than in-stock products and ships once available, within the estimated window shown on the product page (about 2 to 4 weeks from the order date). This window is deemed the agreed delivery date under the Saudi E-Commerce Law.
- Availability may be affected by factors beyond our control, and we will make reasonable efforts to inform you by email of any change to the expected date.
- You may cancel a pre-order and receive a full refund to your original payment method as long as it has not yet shipped. The refund mechanism is detailed in our Refund & Return Policy.
- For mixed orders (an in-stock item together with a pre-order item), the whole order ships together once the pre-order item is available, unless you order the in-stock items separately.
